OverviewWe are not giving Kevin a full writeup because we do not see him as a draftable prospect, despite his being invited to the NFL Combine where he ran an official 4.83 forty, did only 15 bench reps, and had a very respectable 11.12 long shuttle.
Ran 4.76/4.73 in his two heats at the Boston College Pro Day and worked out as a safety. StrengthsA bit of LB/DB hybrid who is a "jack of all trades, master of none" type. Played like a boundary corner who was more of a run-support guy than anything else in college. Fast enough (but too small) for an OLB and big, strong and slow for a safety. Too slow for any defensive back position, however.
WeaknessesA man without a position. Can perhaps make a practice squad and bulk up for a year or two and come back as a WILL LB, but even then you like those guys to be sub 4.7...
ProjectionPriority UDFA that may find a home as a special teamer and backup safety on the right team.
