OverviewOne of the top junior backs in the nation who has split time with some very good backs at Storrs, and yet still compiled over 1700 yards and 15 TDs in his first two seasons before breaking out this year.
LATE NOTE: Brown did well at the UConn Pro Day on 3-15-09, standing on his Combine 40-time, but displaying a 41.5" verticle, a 10'5" broad jump, a 4.10 short shuttle, a 6.93 3-cone drill and an 11.30 long shuttle. StrengthsVery good wiggle. Pinballs and keeps going. Exceptional balance. Breaks tackles pretty well for a back of his dimensions. Runs harder than you would think up the gut for a 210-pounder. Good kid.
WeaknessesNot big, and won't run away from NFL DBs consistently. May not be able to be featured because of his size, and does not possess the elite hands needed in a 3rd-down back. Lacks a base for blocking.
ProjectionLikely second-rounder, perhaps even sneaking into the late first.
