OverviewA leader of the Montana secondary for the pasty there years, Colt Anderson was a college running back and defensive back before coming to the Grizzlies. Colt earned numerous all-Big Sky awards as well as some nationall all-American recognition for one of the FCS's perennial powerhouses.
Colt showed very well at the Montana Pro Day putting up a 6.88 3-cone, a 4.22 time in the 20-yard shuttle on a bad surface, a vertical leap of 36.5", and a broad jump of 10'3" 10-3. He also managed 15 reps on the bench. StrengthsVery heady ballplayer. Diagnoses well and gets there quickly. Solid tackler. Ball hawk with hands for the pick. Very fluid and productive. Can be a spot HB. Could prove a valuable SP player while he works his way into a position.
WeaknessesNot very big for an NFL safety, and not quite quick twitch enough for a conversion to CB. Kind of a man without a position at the next level.
Projection7th-priority UDFA type who will be a tough cut because of his savvy approach to the game.
