OverviewFormer walk on who has had to train hard and earn his keep. Is a self-made player and has done it with weight and speed training as well as solid technique.
PRO DAY NOTE: Ran a 4.57 40. StrengthsPlays the "Elephant" position in the USC Defense. Gets after the QB and has emerged onto the national scene by beating proven CFB OTs. Outstanding pass rush skills and quickness. Excellent special teams player. Gives a good effort every play.
WeaknessesNeeds to stay more disciplined and stick to his assignments. Can get fooled on misdirection and gets engulfed when bigger linemen get into him. Needs to show he can cover backs and TEs out of the backfield on a consistent basis.
ProjectionHas 3-4 OLB written all over him. Fits best into the 3rd round because he will need some coaching up in the pass coverage world of the NFL. He will contribute and make an impact on special teams and as a pass rush specialist immediately.
2nd Round who could get into the first round after a solid SR Bowl. NOTE: Recent rumors of steroid usage may push him down some draft boards. |

Date/Time: 04/7/2009 - 5:53PM CDT Predicted Round: Undrafted Bills play a 4-3, not a 3-4. IMO, way to high of a pick plus Bills do not need 2 DE in the 1st 2 rounds. He's a perfect fit for 3-4 OLB. User: ytse_jammer Date/Time: 12/5/2008 - 6:31PM CST Predicted Round: Round 2 Ladies and gents, I give you the next Lamarr Woodley. Easily the most dynamic of the heralded USC defenders--if you had no preconceptions he'd be the first player you'd see and think "NFL". Rate This Player |
