High School Earned letters in four sports- football, basketball, baseball and track and field, he helped Lamar High School to three state 1-A championships and was a participant in the North-South All-Star game; garnering All-State honors twice in football and in basketball as a senior. His brother Michael was a 2009 NFL Draft prospect at Clemson, so his bloodlines intrigue some scouts. Though not prototypically big-hitter sized he is an intimidating force in center field. He has played several positions including CB and both safety spots. StrengthsVery athletic and unafraid of hard contact, Hamlin is still in the process of unlocking his talent. He is willing to fill the alley against the run and is beginning to use his range to make plays in th passing game.
WeaknessesStill very raw in coverage and does get nosy opening the opportunities for big plays down field, he can overrun plays by being too aggressive.
ProjectionPUDFA who could be drafted based on athletic ability and potential.
