Saw action from the outset of his college career at Mississippi State . . . Has played in all 37 games of his career, with 29 starting assignments . . . Has rushed 653 times for 2,603 yards, a 4.0-yard average, and 30 touchdowns during his tenure . . . He is already the school’s all-time rushing attempts and touchdowns scored leader, and is fourth on the career yardage list . . . He became just the seventh back (ninth occurrence) in school history and the first Bulldog sophomore ever to surpass 1,000 yards rushing in a single season (1,066) in 2007 and his 287 carries that season set a State single season record . . . Strengths

Involved in the passing game, and displays average RB hands. N-S pounder who can occasionally bust a longer one. Has a nice head bob. Runs with authority. Not a slow starter. Gets off quickly and really hits. Good lean. Breaks tackles. Very productive. Finishes runs and punishes defenders. Great size/speed ratio. Has a better burst than you might think. Not as tall, but runs a little like Eric Dickerson. Battle-tested against the best, and has always produced.

Weaknesses

Not a home run threat. Not real shifty. Was busted for DUI in the summer of '09 and was suspended for the opening game of the season as a result. That'll scare some people off.

Projection

2nd round - he's got quality but the character concerns will worry some and there's a lot of similar backs around.

Think talent wise he is worth a mid 3rd but probably won't go until late 4th or early 5th due to character concerns.
