Overview

Polk has good speed, and his ability to help in the box against the run will make him attactive as a SS or FS to an NFL squad.

Strengths

Polk is a very good athlete, tough, smart, versatile he can play both the safety spots and has even played 'Nickel' OLB. He is a hitter, he causes turnovers, is fast, quick also he packs a punch.

Weaknesses

Like so many of his teammates Polk has been bedeviled by injuries, the last 2 years he's had to overcome an ACL, tear, a shoulder injury and a concussion. Will he hold up to a 16 game schedule?

Projection

Polk is the type of player defensive coaches love, if he stays healthy he will be at least a valuable reserve and in time he could start, he could go from the mid 5th round on down.
