Overview

Strengths

Thickly-built brawler; NFL frame. Plays with a low, strong base and natural leverage. Strong arms and hands and locks on effectively. Rarely overpowered or driven back. Effectively shields his man from the ballcarrier. Solid cut blocker.

Weaknesses

Stiff and somewhat limited athletically. Not very quick and doesn't run well. Despite strength is a grab & turn type blocker; lacks explosion off the ball. Tech lineman play with extremely wide splits, so will have to adjust to a more standard scheme.

Projection

Reliable lineman from a pass-first program. Not pretty, but effective. Probable mid-round pick, but may slide if he doesn't turn heads at the combine.
