Overview

Finally secured the starting middle linebacker position this past year after spending much of his career as a backup and primarily special teams player.

Strengths

Very big for a linebacker at 6-2 and 240 pounds. Still growing, he actually will have potential to line up as a DE on some plays. Extremely physical and is known as a very hard hitter. Standout special teams player before he was named a starter, and will have to continue to do so in the NFL. Reminds me a lot of Jamie Winborn.

Weaknesses

Very little starting experience, and even when he did acquire a starting position, he was hurt for a large chunk of the season. Does not have good speed.

Projection

Should be drafted in the 6th to 7th round, but will have to work really hard to make a team.
