Overview

One of the top half-dozen or so OTs in the '09 Draft who has rapidly risen up the charts over the course of this past season.

Strengths

Good size. Has become stronger, tougher, and more physical over the past year. Has shut down some top competition (George SElvie, for example) recently. Has started 35 of 39 games at the all-important OLT position.

Weaknesses

Has only played at a high level (by NFL standards) for one year. Still needs to be tougher and more physical, even though he has improved in those areas.

Projection

Has possibly worked himself into the end of the first round with a strong Senior Bowl week and Combine.

Should go to the Lions at 20, unless they like Britton better. Climbing boards. Athletic, improving, but extremely raw. Needs some time to develop. Didnt face the highest competition. Needs to add bulk. Will be a better LT than RT. Funny enough, he reminds me a little of Jeff Backus, the guy he should replace. Johnny come lately who stepped it up as a senior.

Late riser who may have worked himself up to the bottom of the first round. Good size, feet, and athleticism with high upside.
