Overview

Started 11 games in 2009. Was second on the team in receptions and first in both receiving yards and touchdowns.

Strengths

Excellent prospect faded a bit in the second half of the season along with the rest of the Jayhawks. Consummate big wideout who willingly goes over the middle and wins jump balls outside. Excellent size, strong physique, long arms and great hands. Athletic and explosive with tremendous body control. Very smooth and has good downfield speed. Has games where he appears unstoppable. Willing blocker. Returns kickoffs, but not as a primary duty.

Weaknesses

Only a junior and not polished. Lacks the nuances of running crisp patterns and boxing out defenders. Doesn't have elite speed. Played in a spread offense at Kansas and was frequently uncovered over the middle. Doesn't always want to work and can appear lazy, which has significantly affected his draft status.

Projection

Fine talent who may take awhile to develop. Must show that he wants it. Has some Michael Irvin in him (on the field) and may develop into a pro-bowler. Late fifth, possibly sixth-rounder.

Very good player but not sure how his skill set translates to the next level. Alot will depend on his 40 time but he is NOT one of the top 5 WR's coming out.

Could rise to 1st round pick if he breaks the 4.50 in the 40. If he runs 4.4 he's gone in the middle of the first round. At 4.5 he's a very early second rounder--like a bigger version of Golden Tate.
