OverviewOne year starter for the Bears. 33.5 in arm length and 9.5 in hand length.
Ran 4.59/4.66 unofficially at the NFL Combine with a 9'7" broad jump, a 6.99 3-cone drill, a 4.36 short shuttle and did 24 bench reps. Ran 4.61 and 4.63 at the Cal Pro Day, but did nothing else there. StrengthsHas decent size and production for his one year as a starter. Had some big games where he showed good hands and the ability to use his size to post up and get separation. More of pass catching TE than an inline TE. Strong in the red zone with 8 TDs his JR year. Could flex out and play some slot in certain offenses.
WeaknessesOne year wonder, if that. Had games his JR year where he totally disappeared and did little. Needs to improve his blocking and anchoring ability.
ProjectionShould have stayed in school. Had a very good Combine.

Date/Time: 02/12/2009 - 2:20PM CST Predicted Round: Round 3 I love that he is 3rd of the underclassmen, way to go Bwalker. Hopefully that 4.7 will change at the top there after the combine. Rate This Player |
