OverviewSpent some time in the Cincinnati program, and bounced around a bit before finding his way to DIII Christopher Newport (VA). There, he quickly established himself as one of the nations best DIII RBs with a stellar statistical campaign during 2008. As a senior in 2009 with a new offensive line, and no FB to lead for him, his stats suffered somewhat, but he played well and led the north squad to victory at the East Coast Bowl in all purpose yardage on 11/28/09 to catch some pro scouts' attention.
StrengthsRuns hard and with good body lean. Picks a hole and goes. Finishes pretty well. Has OK hands and has been used some as a receiver. Pretty good team mate. Stepped up against a slightly better level of competition in a post-season All-Star game. Strong (will do 20-24 reps, 385 max bench, 550 squat, 305 hang.)
WeaknessesLacks a top gear, and is not overly elusive. Has never accomplished much at a high level, and has been a big fish in a very small pond the past couple of years. Needs pass pro/blitz pickup work. Needs time to develop technique in all the nuances of RB play. Has no "wow" factor and is slightly over-aged.

Date/Time: 04/17/2009 - 8:47AM CDT Predicted Round: Round 7 Tunde has the size, speed, and strength of a div 1 back. This profile is wrong. He is 6"0 228 pounds. Runs a 4.49 forty. He reminds me of Chris Warren. Both traveled the same road. Rate This Player |
