OverviewAdrian is a 2004 graduate of Chaminade Prep in Stevenson Ranch, CA where he played WR and tallied 157 receptions for 2,492 yards with 20 touchdowns during his 3-year varsity career. He also racked up 200 career tackles with eight interceptions as an all-league cornerback. His senior season he tallied 67 catches for 1,248 yards and nine TDs along with 87 tackles and four interceptions. Led Chaminade Prep to an 8-4 record and state playoff appearance in 2003. Adrian also played basketball and ran track.
Adrian has been a 3-year starter at Duke. He redshirted in 2004, picked up 9 tackles in spot duty in all 11 games in 2005, racked up 55 tackles, a pick and 2 FFs in 2006. He started all 12 games at strong safety in 2007 totaling 58 total tackles and 5 PDs. Last year, he again started at SS, and racked up another 58 tackles, with 1.5 TFLs, 3 picks and a PD. LATE NOTE: Adrian was fairly impressive at the Duke Pro Day on 3-16-09, running 4.61 and 4.60 in the 40, with a 33.5" vertical. a 9'9" broad jump, a 4.15 short shuttle, a 6.85 3-cone and 12 bench reps.
