Overview

Solid FCS DT who could be looked at as a possible rotational 4-3 DE. Put up solid numbers for one of the nation's best FCS clubs in 2008, totaling 61 tackles (22 solo), with 10.5 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, 3 PBUs, 3 PDs, a FF and a FR.

Here are J.D.'s Pro Day numbers:
9'10" broad jump, 31.5" vertical jump, 21 bench reps. 1.60/1.60 10-yard splits, 4.72/4.76 forty times, 4.34 short shuttle, 7.19 3-cone drill.

Strengths

Fine athlete. Strong enough for college DT and big enough to be looked at as a possible conversion guy to a 4-3 DE slot.

Weaknesses

Only really put up big numbers for one season. Kind of a tweener right now who is too light for DT, but not experienced as a DE.
