Overview

2009 D-2 leading tackler and all-time SVSU leading tackler (eclipsed Bills' John DiGiorgio's tackling record). Great team leader on the field and in practice. Finds a way to make the play. Valero Cactus Bowl invitee. AP 1st Team Little All-American.

Strengths

Strength and technique allow Jacobs to make tackles from sideline to sideline. Will take on and shed blocker in the hole and can pursue to the outside. Excellent coverage skills and pass rush ability allow him to be used in many different ways.

Weaknesses

Overall speed may be of concern. Is sometimes caught-up inside and unable to recover.

Projection
