Has seen action in 40 games at Florida, recording 15 starts…Recorded 46 tackles, including 27 solo and 19 assisted…Owns 15.5 tackles for loss and 19 quarterback sacks…Has deflected two passes, forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble and blocked four kicks during his career at UF…Was named the Defensive MVP of the 2009 FedEx BCS National Championship Game.

Strengths

Great size and bulk. Shows flashes of genius and uses his pads well. A pretty instinctive player who just seems to know where to go and what to do.

Weaknesses

Was arrested for DUI prior to the SEC Title Game and was suspended for that game as a result. Questions are often asked about his work ethic and whether he always gives 100%. Overhyped. Could well be the next Jamaal Anderson.

Projection

1st round - someone will fall for the hype and draft him. They'd better be prepared to work him hard though.

In all fairness MeanJoe posted that in May fella's and Dunlap is still a top 10 prospect IMO despite charcater concerns

Previous poster hit it on the head. Not only the character issues but he's doesn't show it consistently. He's got all the tools but buyer beware.

You still sure about that top 5??? MeanJoeGreene75. Let's set aside the obvious character issues for a second. Carlos Dunlop has ideal measurables for a 4-3 DE. However, all I see is another overhyped Florida D-lineman. He is surrounded by NFL calaber players and has been far from spectacular. Some team will draft him high based on his upside, but I am underwhelmed by Dunlop. He is this years Michael Johnson (Georgia Tech 09')at 6'7" 265lbs everyone had Johnson in the first round. he was drafted in the 3rd round by Cincinnati. P.S. Florida didn't repeat either...
