Overview

Strengths

Terrific prospect coming out after only his sophomore campaign. Top athlete with speed, agility and leaping ability. Playmaker with great instincts. Great range and closing speed. Can play both centerfield and man coverage in the slot. Improved tackler. Forces fumbles and makes interceptions. Best ball still in front of him. Has some Bob Sanders in him.

Weaknesses

Not big and doesn't have the frame to get much larger. More of a pass defender than run supporter. Only a sophomore and will take time to develop.

Projection

Based on size and perceived lack of experience, the second round seems a likely bet, but a great combine showing could land him in the first. Based strictly on game film, he's a borderline Top-ten player, though he'll never be selected that high.
