Overview

Strengths

Natural cover corner who can play both zone and man coverages. Quick with loose hips and an explosive burst. Fast with a second gear. Closes quickly on passes thrown in front of him, and can hang with wideouts on deep balls. Breaks up passes. Fine punt returner with the ability to go the distance.

Weaknesses

Thin build and not physical or rugged. Avoids contact when possible and is not a strong tackler. Loses concentration in coverage and gambles often. Might be more suited to the slot in the NFL.

Projection

Cover corners are in high demand so Franks shouldn't have to wait long to hear his name called, probably in the second or third round. Must become more physical to take the field on Sundays.
