OverviewJarvis started 12 of the 13 games he played in as a senior, catching 18 balls for 229 yards and a pair of TDs. Over his career, he caught 63 passes for 791 yards and 7 TDs. At Avon Old Farms school, he also competed in sprints and high jump as a member of the track and field team.
StrengthsJarvis has excellent size and athleticism. At nearly 6'5", he has very good body control and displays deceptive speed as well. He has the potential to develop into a receiving threat over time.
WeaknessesDespite athletic ability, he never really improved at BC. Matt Ryan helped him emerge a bit as a sophomore, but he wasn't able to build upon that early success as a junior or senior.
ProjectionIf Jarvis runs anything sub 4.50 at his pro day workout, look for teams to start sniffing around him a bit more. His phone should be ringing shortly after the conclusion of the 2010 NFL Draft.
