Overview

Strengths

Big, tough brawling lineman who brings passion to the field and attitude on every play. Quick into his blocks and very strong; once he locks on, it's over. Great hand punch. Can both move people off the ball and execute position/seal blocks. Decent athlete who can run; good on screen plays. Solid in pass protection and an effective anchor vs. power rushers. Versatile; played guard his first three seasons and has the size and intelligence to perhaps learn to play OT.

Weaknesses

Not the most agile of linemen and can occasionally be beaten by quickness and stunts/twists inside. Hotheaded. Plays to the whistle and too often beyond. Must learn to temper his aggression.

Projection

Not the most heralded prospect but one of my favorites. Rated now as a mid-round pick, but with a good combine could go as high as the third. Demeanor, toughness and skills to start a long time in the NFL.
