Overview

Athletic and fast, team captain who was 2nd Team All-WAC in 2008 and 2009. Injured in the 8th game and did not play for the remainder of '09, but was among team leaders in tackles, sacks, and tackles for loss when injured.

Strengths

Great speed off the edge allows him to put pressure on the passer quickly. Plays off blockers, reads and reacts well on the run. Can play in the flat in coverage (2 breakups in just 8 games in '09).

Weaknesses

'Tweener who might lack the speed required to play OLB in coverage and the mass to play DE against NFL opponents.

Projection

6th round. Combine invitation will allow him to prove his value - with exceptional 40 time could be a 5th round choice.
