Overview

Strengths

Rugged 4-3 base end prospect. Transfer who stepped right into a starting role. Good athlete with nice quickness, balance and movement skills. Solid strength and can hold the point. Good run defender who can penetrate the backfield and run and chase plays away from him. Disciplined and honors his assignments. Moves to DT on passing downs. Gets some pressure and bats down passes.

Weaknesses

Kind of a 'tweener who is not quite as quick/athletic as you'd like a 4-3 end to be and not as tall/heavy as a 3-4 end should be. Lacks first-step quickness to be an elite pass rusher.

Projection

Solid football player worth a mid-round pick. Should crack the DL rotation early in his career.
