Overview

Big hitting safety who has been key member of the Falcon defense for the last three seasons. Team leader who energizes his teammates.

Strengths

Great in run support - makes reads quickly and gets to the runner fast. Rarely misses a tackle (81 total in 2009). Hits hard on contact and punishes runner (3 forced fumbles in 2009).

Weaknesses

Not as strong in pass coverage. Lacks cover skills (height also negative) to match-up with NFL receivers. Will play soft and give too much cushion.
