Important LinksStatsOverviewSenior K Brett Swenson accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, this came following his selection to the First Team All-Big Ten for the 2009 college football season as voted on by the Big Ten coaches. Senior Bowl measurements - Arm: 28.5" Hand: 9.0" Notes: Small frame, average build, typical kicker
StrengthsVery accurate and Swenson was a top recruit who bounced back from a relatively shaky sophomore season to his 22-of-28 field goals including a 50 yarder. The All-Big Ten selection came through clutch with a 4-for-4 day in the win over Wisconsin and had a three game stretch going 10-of-10. Three of his misses came against Michigan and he two of his six misses on the year came from beyond 50 yards.
WeaknessesSwenson is one of the best kickers in the country, however he has struggled at times with his speed and even a little mechanical inconsistency, which was later fixed.
ProjectionA late 6th or 7th rounder, has a good but not great leg, but is very solid.
