Overview

Had an amazing senior season for the Bears, racking up the most receiving yards of any FCS TE in the country, while amassing 59-749, 4 TDs.

Strengths

Elite pass catcher with very good hands. Fast. Smart and very articulate. Football smart and will gobble a playbook. Good separation quickness and can really find the seams in a defense. Gives solid effort when asked to block. Just enough size and speed to be used as a move TE. Can also be looked at as a FB or H-back. Has even played safety in the past. Very productive in college. Very good ups (37"). Strong (benches 460, squats 570.) Would blow up the combine if he gets invited.

Weaknesses

Smallish for an NFL TE, and may suffer when asked to run block on a consistent basis. Does not possess the type of speed that will stretch NFL defenses the way he was able to do that in college. Marginal overall package for the pro game. Lacks growth potential and upside.

Projection

5-7th rounder, unless a small-school bias snares him.

Tremendously talented player that would be more highly regarded had he come from a stronger football school. Productive year in and year out as the leader of the Missouri State Bears and will be highly productive on the next level. Probably a 4th round selection thanks to strong postseason and combine workouts. Had the Chiefs director of college scouting, Phil Emery at his pro day, along with several others.

How talented is the 6'3", 243-pound Harbor? He reminds some of Texans TE Owen Daniels. He is a hard worker in the film room and weight room and is expected to run 4.71 or better when timed at the combine or a pro day, like many good players at the position he was a fine basketball player and his vertical leap has been measured at 37." One scout had these things to say about Harbor: ”Very special football player. He’s got great size. He’s added 20 pounds. He’s got vertical stretch. He can do it all. He can catch all the balls, one-handed, two-handed. He’s a willing blocker. Harbor has been named to the Walter Camp FCS All-America Team for the 2009 college football season as selected by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Harbor was a first-team All-MVFC selection for the third straight season after collecting 59 receptions for 729 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2009. Harbor, was named an Associated Press second-team All-American last year after leading the Bears with 40 catches for 457 yards. He was also named to the league's Silver Anniversary Team and has been recognized by the Associated Press All-America team each of the past two years. This season, Harbor had the most receptions by a tight end in the MVFC and second-most nationally. He also led all tight ends nationally in receiving yards per game (66.3). He ended his Bears' career as the school's all-time receptions leader (150) and was third in career receiving yards (1,906). He also finished with receptions in 33 straight games to tie the MSU record and notched four 100-yard receiving games this season and six for his career.
