OverviewLast year and this year he has struggled at times with shoulder as well as ankle injuries also position shifts but always fights through. Saxon's a tough guy and a smart one as well. As a sophomore Saxon started all 13 games next to Rodger Saffold at left guard after starting five of the final six games there as a true freshman and helped the Hoosiers average 157.4 yards per game on the ground and 393.8 yards of total offense, the highest averages in each category since the 2001 campaign. In 2006 he played the final eight games, making five starts.
StrengthsJust about to turn 22 and clearly has a frame that can hold 15-25 pounds easily, not maxed out and can play OC, OG and perhaps even RT at the next level.
WeaknessesHe has been dealing with a few injuries to include a concussion this season, he will need a very thorough medical exam.
ProjectionPUDFA who has the versatility and attitude that could allow him to stick on a roster.
