Strengths

Physical, rugged SS type. Big hitter who intimidates players who venture into his area of the field. Good speed and athleticism, and has some explosive qualities. Physical in the run game. Hard worker who has overcome injuries to play well.

Weaknesses

Suffered a major ACL tear as a junior and was just starting to round back into shape towards the end of '09. Lacks experience of top prospects. Head-hunter who was not used much in coverage and is not suited to FS.

Projection

Job opportunities for these types of safties are dwindling with each ridiculous rule change designed to protect skill players, but he'll still get his chance. Special teams are key early on. 5th/6th rounder.
