Overview

A true 4-3 tackle, Alford has a knack for getting at the quarterback. Was an integral part in 3 top rated Lion defenses. Fierce competitor who goes all out on every play.

Strengths

Has an arsenal of pass rush moves and is able to get behind the line. Great upper-body strength to bully opponents. Dual threat of pass-rushing and run stopping. High motor.

Weaknesses

Won't fit every scheme. Isn't always as nasty as you would like your lineman. Sometimes plays down to competition.

Projection

In a solid group of tackles, Alford finds himself in the middle. Will be a day 1 pick at this point.
