Overview

Posluszny has been one of the most productive linebackers in Penn State's history. He plays the game with a high motor and always gives 100% on every play. He has top notch leadership skills and was named a captain at Penn State as a junior.

Strengths

Very instinctive. Always knows where the ball is and gets to it. Excellent technique and wrap up and rarely misses tackles. Good sideline to sideline speed and plays faster than he times. Unrivaled character and leadership skills and named Penn State's captain as a junior, which is rarely done.

Weaknesses

May have trouble shedding blocks from bigger players. Doesn't have elite strength or speed. Isn't a physical freak like stats would lead you to believe.

Projection

Has everything you look for at the next level. Would have gone into the NFL last year if it had not been for injury. Projects as a early to mid first rounder with the inability to shed blocks as his only weakness.

He's one of the toughest, most instinctive linebackers that I've ever scouted. He also has the size and athleticism necessary to be successful, and so I expect him to be a big-time NFL player.

He might be the greatest all around LB to come out of the draft since Brian Urlacher. He's perfectly built to be a NFL LB. His size and ability to read plays will make him a hard player for any team to pass up in the draft. I see him being a Hall of Famer.

Hate to see him go to a 3-4 team. He has the tenacity to play the outside, but teams will enjoy the fact that he played a 3-4 scheme in college, and has all ready been successful in the system.

INCREDIBLY instinctive player. Living in PSU country it's hard to believe he won't be a pro bowl player at the next level. One of those guys that will make a few teams look crazy for crossing him off their board for a slow 40 time.

A bit overrated. Will have trouble getting off blocks for sure.

Team switched to a 3-4 early in season and moved him to ILB, which hurt him terribly. Finally got a feel for his new position mid season and lit it up
