Overview

4 year letterman who was a part of some very good Michigan secondaries. An academic as well as athlete, Adams brings versatility to the safety position.

Strengths

Will come up and hit. Very good run supporter. Able blitzer. Has moved around in the secondary a bit and has seen a lot of Big 10 action. Surprising ball skills and has the ability to find and disrupt deep plays. Tough.

Weaknesses

Weaker frame. Is by no means a ball hawk and has been beat deep plenty of times. Read to react seems a bit slow. Hasn't lived up to the billing he received as a prep or going into his senior year. Hit his potential, and didn't seem to get much better.

Projection

A quality safety who is battle tested and smart. Looks to be a mid day 1 pick, or may slide into day 2 based on workouts. It's a weak safety class, so he has the opportunity to rise.
