OverviewBell played in all 11 games as a true Freshman and started 5 games as a Sophomore. Bell was limited his Junior year to just 7 games but still managed to lead his team in tackles. Bell was a consensus top 10 prospect heading into 2007.
StrengthsBell is a big backer for today's standards and exceptionaly quick. Bell does an excellent job in his pre-snap reads and fights through traffic really well. Bell is one of the better tacklers in college football and has huge upside when it comes to creating turnovers. Bell is also excellent in coverage, which makes him appealing to 3-4 and 4-3 defenses. An extremely versatile player.
WeaknessesHas battled injuries throughout career primarily to his feet and ankles; however, 2007 has been pretty much injury free. Not the most athletic of backers.
ProjectionCould go as early as the begnning of Round 3 but expect him to fall somewhere in Round 4.
