Overview

One of the best receivers in IAA football. Looks like a man among boys at his level.

Strengths

Has better football than timed speed. Not a long strider despite his size. Fluid. Gets to a spot. Fights for the ball. Knows how to shield the defender away from the ball. Runs pretty good routes. Makes the tough catch in traffic.

Weaknesses

Does not have NFL deep speed. Has the look of a possession receiver at the next level, but was used on a lot of deep routes in college. Cuts are not yet clean enough. Can get stronger. Level of competition will kill him.

Projection

If Jason were at a big name IA school we might be talking about a possible 4-5th rounder here. He has the tools to warrant such a selection but will carry a 7th-UDFA grade into the draft.
