Detroit, Michigan - Wayne State (MI) Warrior Joique Bell became the all-time leading rusher in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference history after running for 289 yards on 33 carries for 3 TDs against the University of Findlay Oilers. He now has 4,986 yards in GLIAC play, passing Michigan Tech's Lee Marana with 4,748.

"He physically overpowered us," Findlay coach Jon Wauford said. "We had guys there, but we just couldn't get him down to the ground."

Bell averaged 8.8 yards per carry in his 13th 200+ yard game. He has tallied 437 points in his career and is 15th on the all-time NCAA scoring list.

Bell is the 2009 CDS D-2 Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Wayne State (3-1, 2-1) travels to Tiffin to take on the Dragons (0-4, 0-3) on Saturday, September 26 at 1:30PM.
