Lions Rounds 1,2,3,4,5,6

Round 1, Pick# 5 - Patrick Peterson, CB - LSU
The Lions CBs have done a pretty good job the past couple weeks but they dont a have a shut down corner.
Round 2, Pick# 5 - DeMarcus Love, OT - Arkansas
The Lions ned a tackle and so far there are not any worthy of a top 5 pick.
Round 3, Pick# 5 - Colin McCarthy, OLB - Miami
The LB core needs help. Id rather have Mark Herzlich of Boston College but i think he will be gone by this point.
Round 4, Pick# 5 - Stephen Scilling, OG - Michigan
The Lions need to get interior o-line that can open up running lanes. Thats a big reason why their 27th in rushing yards per game.
Round 5, Pick# 5 - Owen Marecic, FB - Stanford
One of the best run blockers in the nation. He also has a great attitude and work ethic which is important for a young team like the Lions.
Round 6, Pick# 5 - Tyrod Taylor, QB - Virginia Tech
This is probably Drew Stantons last year in Detroit.
Round 7, Pick# 5 - James Rodgers, WR - Oregon State
He is out for the rest of the season and might decide to stay at Oregon State. However if he doesnt the Lions sould pick him up because he is a good playmaker.
