Lions Rounds 1,2,3,4,5,6

Round 1, Pick# 4 - CB - Patrick Peterson - LSU

Another very impressive blue chip defensive player to go along with Suh. Also is an amazing kick returner.

Round 2, Pick# 3 - S - DeAndre McDaniel - Clemson

It looks like the way the 1st round will shape out, some very good safeties will fall into the later rounds. Pairing McDaniel with Peterson would put some real teeth into the Lions D.

Round 3, Pick# 6 - OC - Kris O'Dowd - USC

Every offensive line needs a leader and Kris could be just that for the Lions. Kris is 6'5 and over 300lbs, a major upgrade over Raiola.

Round 4, Pick# 4 - DE - Greg Romeus - Pittsburgh

Greg had back surgery and is out for the year. A former #1 pick who will fall, maybe as far as the 4th round. Could be a major steal for the Lions if he is able to recover.

Round 5, Pick# 4 - RB - Derrick Locke - Kentucky

I'm a little concerned with the injuries Detroit has had at both RB and QB. More qualily depth is needed at both spots.

Round 6, Pick# 6 - OLB - Brian Rolle - OSU

Detroit could use some more standouts on special teams.

Round 7, Pick# 4 - WR - Jeremy Kerley - WR/PR

This guy could stick as a punt returner. Can't envision a Detroit draft without a WR being taken at some point.

Not too bad, however Romeus won't fall THAT far, and I think we are in major need of a LT. I doubt we will be picking at pick 4, so maybe we could grab a tackle in round 1 since Peterson probably won't be there, and take McDaniel in round 2. I think our CBs have been playing great lately. The only one I think has been stuggling is Johnathon Wade, and he is a second- or third-string anyhow. I'm glad somebody else realizes that Dominic Raiola is a bum. He gets absolutely no push up front. Its kinda disgusting to watch.
